Finals are over and I only have a part time job, what's a girl to do? Other then sleeping in I have no idea what to do with what seems to be blessed free time. After careful consideration, I have decided what I should do.
Many of you know that I had to bail out of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in November after my computer had a horrific hardware crash. (Long story short, I have to get a new computer.) Needless to say I still want to write said novel. After a few days of thought I have decided that this summer break, I will in fact, write a novel.
This summer has become the summer of the novel! I will follow the guidelines of NaNoWriMo. Which really, the only rule is to have written at least 50,000 words by the end date.
Here is my promise to everyone. I will have at minimum, fifty thousand (50,000) words written by 12:01 a.m. on August 23, 2011.
Since I'm giving myself over a month I am hoping to also have some editing done as well, but that will have to wait.
Every evening I will post my current word count on Facebook and Twitter.
You can follow me at Twitter (if you want) at [link]
If you don't think my word count is progressing enough, please, feel free to harass me. I could use all the support I can get.
Going off of my last attempt to start my current word count is; 1,001.
