As many of you may know, North Korea has threatend the United States. It seems that all the U.N. pressuring of North Korea only made them angrier. Some of this pressure included reducing the import/export trade with the United States. (Hence the title of this journal.)
Under the pressure of the U.N. and everyone pretending to actually do something, North Korea retaliated. According to the Japanese North Korea plans to launch a long range missile, the Taepodong-2, towards Hawaii. Here's the full news article for everyone; [link]
In other articles its stated that missile defense around Hawaii has been boosted.
Still, its really troubling and it bothers me. I'm not as fearful as I was when I first heard it..but still.
Now in semi-related news, not only does ~Aqua-Limeade come to stay with me tomorrow (YAY!!!) but I will be picking up ~Aiko-Kurai from the airport in nine days!
I am so excited, its not even funny.
While working hasn't been the best, and a couple of bumps have been hit, I say this summer and last have been the best I've ever had.
I'm still getting the pictures of Hawaii up, and now there will, of course, be lots of photos of Aqua and I. However, I imagine most of those will be presented on facebook.
I'll be taking a Drawing class next semester, once I gain more confidence in my traditional skills I would love to post my art for everyone.
