Soldier Stamp by Pirate-Liz Soldier Stamp by Pirate-Liz
This one was very hard to do, I hope its legible. If you can't tell it says "If you don't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them."

I am in no way a current supporter of the war, but I still support the soldiers. Whether or not you think its good, someone is out there dying because they believe they're protecting you. That's more then a lot of you deserve.

For my Grandfather Rodwell, My Grandfather Swanson, my father, my friends, and to all the veterans, the military personnel, and to those who have passed on.
We still support you.

American Flag found in Google Images.

If you use this stamp please comment and/or fave. Thank you!

It's a bit hard to read but the message is perfect. I'd suggest making the flag darker and the text lighter, or vice versa.

Because the US is ironically one of the most militaristic countries. It partially has to do with the US being in such a bilateral nightmare that it would go to war on behalf of about 67 other nations. Such a plan is by no means sustainable, which is why I believe the US should only have a purely defensive military. As an independent republic, there is no reason for us to have an offensive military.

Amen ^^ I don't believe in war either, but I will never stop supporting our troops who risk their lives for others. This goes to every soldier out there as well  I don't think some people really understand how hard, the life of a soldier is.

Uh, if people don't want to fight in the military, why does that give others permission to say they're bad people and should die because of it. :/ That makes me dislike the military even less.

Yeah, considering my country is an important ally of yours, attacking us will hurt you more than us. We can always rebuild an army, but you cannot reforge an alliance. Plus, consider how your other allies would react when they see America attacking an ally.

Love this stamp and what it stands for...especially with dating a soldier. They're life is NOT easy. I've had family in the military including a grandfather that went to war. My boyfriend has been to Afghanistan and may be heading there again this July. It's a hard life. I've lost friends over sticking up for the troops (even before my boyfriend came along) and I will continue to stand up for them. I don't support the war either, but that doesn't mean we can't support the men and women over there fighting against their will.

Awwww, thank you for that. I can't thank him enough for what he does and show him my support. And you know, so many people don't realize the life they really live and what their families go through until they're involved with someone in the military. So it means a lot to him and myself for the thanks you have given us.

The US imperialist gov and army are the architects of 2 wars of agression in the last decade alone. One day they will have to answer for this, first and foremost to the American people they deceived and manipulated in order to justify their hideous crimes...

Germany has nothing to do with this, their government has succesfully made a transition towards becoming a strong nation built on principles of peace and mutual respect, combined with long-lived German virtues of discipline and order. The US government & army cares nothing for peace and mutual respect, only obedient submission to their anarchist 'freedom', it seems. And "regret", you say? I highly doubt that the war criminal G.W Bush and his clique "regret" anything, least of all the aggressor wars he masterminded or the 1000's of American & European lives he wasted in the wastelands of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Haha you humor me...really you do! Okay first off I was saying past Germany not present thank you, and sencond off We have freedom! look at our constitution and apperently you do not know what happened to the U.S. on Semptember 11, 2001, I would say look up before you acuse anymore American Soldiers! Americans do regret things, also I should know, me living in America! Just walking down the streets and talking to veterans, the Retired ones, they will say what they regret! Americans are humans also we have feelings we do have regrets! So think twice and make a reasonable argument :)

First off, leave the past in the past, stick with the present issues of this generation.
Secondly, if you want to bring up the past of a nation, need I remind you your country indulged in slavery and terrorism in the past.
Third, I know what happened in your country on September 11. It sucks, but your country is hardly alone. Every major country has had an act of terrorism against it, and sometimes multiple ones.

If you understood me, you would consider it a "reasonable argument".

When I say Germany made a transition towards being a peaceful power, I obviously mean its transition from a mass-murdering dictatorship towards the federal republic they have of today.

Your US constitution is a complete sham, in case you didn't know. It was written by a clique of colonial oppressors that didn't want to share the gains of their tyranny with the British Empire anymore. So they decided to cast off the British overlordship and create a nation of their own. Of course, in order to be taken seriously as an actual country instead of a bunch of traitors to Britain, the colonials needed a believable background story to build their new country on. Therefore, they created this utopic tale of a nation where equality, liberty and justice were the guiding principles; a nation where everyone who was tired of the European regimes could build a new life in a prosperous community, "God's own country". While the American colonials were inventing that illusion, they were oppressing their slaves like cattle. The US was solely built on the boundless greed and cruelty of a handful of tyrants that no longer wanted to share the accumulated wealth with the motherland. They misused the notions of liberty and equality for this, which is a hideous crime.

That the US government hasn't learned ever since the days of Washington and his clique is very clear, because they misused the notion of liberty again to start their last 2 wars, and continue to misuse it in order to discredit people and countries around the world that do not bow to the US schemes.

As for 9-11, the fact that such things could happen is merely proof of the anarchy that the USA's version of freedom is. Such large-scale terrorism would be impossible in a decently organized, well-led country. The cause of the 9-11 terrorist attacks - islamic extremism - isn't going to be neutralized in the deserts of Afghanistan, but on the homefront. The war in Afghanistan has been a pointless undertaking ever since it started because the moment of ISAF's departure will be the moment for the Taliban to re-establish their rule, as is proven almost daily in news coming out of Afghanistan.

It's funny how you say this about our constitution and about how America is such a big bad country considering many Europeans immagrate here to "The Land of Oppertunity". I mean look at Andrew Carnigie, he came from Scotland at 13 years old with nothing but the clothes on his back and a few cents and then died worth over millions of dollars...I will agree there are people here in the United States that really are Ignorant and such but thats not everyone.

Not everyone was for the wars we went to and the reasonings we went there i stand by! I could care less about what you think about it, but we the US went to Afghanistan to also help them have a stronger military!

Honestly, it is completely rude of you saying that about 9-11! Hundreds of people died...not prisonors....no inncent people! Terrorist attacks happen all over the world, and instead of America blowing it off, we acctually came closer as a Nation and Mourn the day it happened every year, and remember the first responders and such! So really you're just a heartless schmuck about 9-11 I would like to see you sufficate, Burn, or jump to your very death, and see how much fun that is!

What's "funny" is that you don't seem to understand what I said or you don't want to understand it. You offer no fundamented counter-arguments. A person that came/comes to the USA with "nothing but the clothes on his back" (oldest cliché in the American Dream rhetorics) has a chance of maybe 1 in 10000 to actually realize "the American Dream", starting from scratch and ending up with a rich, (materially) prosperous life. All the millions & millions in the gutters of America's metropoles will have quite a different opinion on the American Dream, even though most of them are probably equally determined to try and achieve it. I'm not really bashing the USA for this, but for the fact that they constantly spread childish propaganda - both to their own people and to foreigners - claiming that essentially everyone can realize the American Dream, which is a blunt lie.

The war in Afghanistan is a complete disaster, I don't think you can deny it. What has been accomplished there, I ask you? "We killed Bin Laden!"... Yea, congrats, too bad Pakistan knew where he was for years but failed to tell the US... The US-NATO alliance forgot that there's more to war than mere brute force. It was easy enough to topple the Taliban regime and take over the country, but what after that? Clearly no one really thought about that. Now, the Taliban have significant power and operating capacity in the country (even controlling significant portions of the countryside), US-NATO power is pretty much reduced to Afghan cities (where Taliban can strike as they see fit), regional allies like Pakistan are unreliable at best, the US completely failed to gain the support of the local people & the Afghan puppet government installed by the US is constantly being infiltrated by Taliban agents and will be destroyed when the US-NATO forces leave. It's a complete hornet's nest and I think the US-NATO alliance is quite lucky that Afghanistan didn't turn into a second Vietnam-exit.

About 9-11, I suppose you should re-read what I wrote because I never meant to insult or dishonour the memory of those who died there. What I wrote is that the root of such enormous terrorist acts will never be neutralized abroad but at home. Every extremist in the US (and Europe) can get his hands on weapons or material to create bombs, and has countless opportunities to commit terrorist acts of various kinds because of a complete lack and incompetence in terms of internal control and security. If you look at Europe alone, it'll take you little more than 2 hours and 3000€ to get your very own AK47 on the Grand Place of Brussels itself, as proven by multiple undercover journalists. If that is possible, you can just as easily walk into the subway and shoot over 50 people within minutes. In fact, it's pretty much a miracle that terrorist acts aren't happening much more often.

I don't support the soldiers. No, that doesn't mean that I want them to die. I don't support our two current wars and I can't support anyone who serves in them. 9-11 happened almost ten years ago, and enlistment in the military surged afterwards; I'm led to believe that a large number of soldiers enlisted after invasion plans were already announced. I cannot support that and I do not consider them heroes.
